Weekend of fun gets under way at Lincoln District Scout Camp

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from groups across Lincoln are enjoying an exciting weekend of activities to celebrate 60 years of Sudbrooke campsite.
The weather couldn’t be better for the 500 Scouts and 200 volunteers at the camp, and with 80 activities for the Scouts to enjoy, the weekend is a fitting way to mark the 60th anniversary of the campsite.
Activities are based on a Crystal Maze theme and involved Scouts collecting ‘diamonds’ for effective teamwork. With problem solving, physical, and mental challenges, Scouts are putting their hands to crate stacking, climbing, obstacle courses, riddles, puzzles and games.
A huge thank you to all volunteers who have contributed their time so far to help plan and run the event.
