Fantastic Explorer Scout Weekend at eSpalsh!

50 people took part in eSplash at North Hykeham over the weekend of 14-16 Septmber. Explorer scouts aged 14-18 from all over the county were able to try sailing, open canoeing and bell boating in wonderful conditions at Apex Lakes. Organised by ACC Activities, Rachel Nelson, the event introduced adventurous activities and was enjoyed by all.
Rachel was also awarded her Wood badge by County Commissioner Robin Wright over the weekend. The Wood Badge is a Scouting program and Award for adults in the Scout associations around the world. The Wood Badge course is designed so that adult Scouters can learn; in as practical a way possible, the skills and methods of Scouting. On completion, participants are still awarded the beads to recognise the significant achievement in leadership and direct service to young people, and to welcome them to membership of 1st Gilwell Park Scout Group.

Whether you're booking just yourself or a group of volunteers, everyone should use the same online booking system. https://bookings.lincolnshirescouts.org.uk/lincsfest Individuals are very welcome to book themselves on, so don't worry if you're not booking as part of a group. Staff bookings will be released at a later date. If you're volunteering as part of the LINCSFEST staff team, your line manager or LINCSFEST contact will send you the staff booking link directly.
