Cubs on the Water

Over 200 Cubs attended over the 2-days on the weekend of 12 - 13th May 2018 at Girton Sailing Club. Each Cub participated in 5 activities over the day: Canoe & Kayak, Sailing, Rowing, Bellboating and a craft activity of making a model boat.
The cubs had a brilliant day which was run very smoothly by a amazing group of volunteers, helping young people gain skills to succeed. These volunteers gave the cubs the confidence to get wet and at the end of the day asking when they can go again.

Cubs Take Over Sudbrooke Park as over 400 young people and volunteers join together for an unforgettable County Cub camp.
6th Skegness Sea Scouts were honoured to attend BBC Radio Lincolnshire's Make a Difference awards ceremony, as a finalist in the community group award category. With over 500 nominations across the categories they made it to the final 4 and got a Highly Commended award which will take pride of place at their Scout Hall. A huge congratulations to them and all the finalists and winners on the night.
