It's less than 5 days until our Lincolnshire unit leave for the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan! It's come round quickly and we have some very excited young people!
The 27 Explorers and 9 Senior Section from Midlands Girlguiding are an amazing group of people and it is a pleasure to be taking them to the Jamboree in Japan. Without the support they have been given from groups and districts they would not have raised so much money or being the people they are in Scouting today. This will certainly inspire the next unit for the 2019 Jamboree in the USA.
Anybody in Scouts now will be the right age for the next Jamboree and this could be yet another reason to stay in Scouting to Explorers!
