Appointment of Rich Spence as Joint Programme Team Lead

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Rich Spence as Joint Programme Team Lead for Lincolnshire Scouts.

Rich brings a huge amount of Scouting experience to this role, both at County and local level. He currently serves in a number of volunteer roles across Lincolnshire and Louth, including on leadership teams, programme delivery, first aid training, and wider event support such as the Poacher International Jamboree. This breadth of experience, alongside his long-standing commitment to delivering high-quality Scouting, makes him exceptionally well placed to support programme development across the County.

Rich will take the lead on section support, helping strengthen programme quality, sharing best practice, and ensuring our sections are well supported to deliver brilliant experiences for young people.

Carolyn will continue to focus on adventure, events, Young Leaders and activities, ensuring we continue to provide exciting opportunities and memorable experiences for young people across Lincolnshire.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Ellie Broome, who has recently stepped down from the Joint Programme Team. Ellie has made a valuable contribution to programme support across the County, and we are grateful for the time, energy and commitment she has given. We thank her for everything she has done and wish her all the very best for the future.

Please join me in congratulating Rich on his appointment and in supporting both Rich and Carolyn in their roles.
