Stamford and Ketton Explorers go back to basics

Stamford and Ketton Explorers have spent a weekend learning bush craft skills at Dukes Covert campsite. Working towards their survival skills badge they have had to demonstrate a variety of different techniques including the lighting and building of a fire, learning how to cook variety of foods such as meat and fish over a fire and the construction of a shelter of natural or salvaged materials and sleeping overnight in it.
