County Calendar

Since the launch of the new website we have been conscious that there has been no Calendar function (although over the last year, there has been very little to include). We were keen to provide this functionality but we wanted to make a solution that works for our members, including all feedback received on the previous site.

We are pleased to say that we now have an improved calendar available on the website, though Microsoft 365 and as a subscribable version too. This allows you to access the full County calendar in a way that suited you, whether it be at home or on your phone.

Subscribe/View Shared Calendar

Visit the calendar page on the website to find out how to add as a Shared Calendar in Microsoft 365 or to subscribe on you phones/tablets and/or home computer.

Direct Link to Event/Training/Meeting Information Pages

The majority of events within the calendar also have their own deticated information page. This allows you to share links for specific events. For example, if you want to share a training course within your group of leaders, you can and they will be able to access all the information and book for the event (e.g. https://www.lincolnshirescouts.org.uk/meetings/allmembersmay21)

Distributable Calendar Files

Have you ever added an event to you calendar but copied the detailes down wrong? We have enables downloadable calendar files for each event which include full details. These can be downloaded from the events page and included as attachements in emails.

Add and Event

We also wanted to make it easy for events to be added to our calendar. And as pard of a wider improvement, events can now be added through a simple online form which following review, is automatically added to the calendar with full details (inc. calendar invite and direct URL).

The County Calendar is for all County Events and other events which are open to the wide County.
