I hope you’re all enjoying your summer camps and taking the opportunity to have a well-deserved break!
It’s great to hear about so many adventures happening across Lincolnshire this summer. I’m looking forward to seeing some of you at Kandersteg and Norjam – both amazing experiences and a fantastic chance to connect with Scouts from far and wide.
I’m also really excited to be attending the National Scout & Guide Symphony Orchestra and the National Scout & Guide Concert Band at Nottingham’s Albert Hall on Thursday 7th August, where we have some of our own Lincolnshire Scouts performing – a huge well done to them!
A quick reminder that Jamboree participant selection is underway – make sure to check the details if you or someone you know is interested in being part of this life-changing event.
Don’t forget about Splash Lincs, coming up soon – a brilliant chance for some water-based fun and a highlight of the county calendar.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone for completing the mandatory safety training. Your dedication to spending more of your time supporting young people and fellow adults is really appreciated, and I look forward to seeing and hearing all about your Scouting adventures in the coming months.
Finally, I’m really looking forward to seeing many of you at LincsFest – it’s shaping up to be a fantastic event.
Thanks to everyone – volunteers, leaders, young people and supporters – for all you do to keep the adventure going.
Wishing you and your family a safe and fun summer holiday.
Take care and enjoy the rest of the summer!
