Cubs on the Water 2024

Saturday 6 July or Sunday 7 July

Cubs on the Water is a full-on day of water based activities for Cubs. Throughout the course of the day, the Cubs will be able to take part in a multitude of different activities; such as Canoeing and Sailing. Cubs on the Water allows the Cubs to gain their time on the water badge and get to meet other cubs from all around the County! This year you will get the choice of one of two dates, a Saturday or a Sunday.

Your pack is invited to join us for a day of water based activities on Hykeham Lakes, Lincoln. Planned activities include Sailing, Canoeing, Paddling, Bell Boating and an onshore craft activity as well as some water themed activities on land. Cubs on the water(C.O.W) will be held over at Hykeham Scouts Water Centre. Cubs can only attend 1 day session over the weekend as part of a pack. Any Cub may attend as part of their pack alongside their Leader. There will be no individual bookings from Cubs taken. Cubs Packs are welcome to bring Young Leaders to help them, however, there will be no activities provided for them. Cubs can not attend independently.

All participants will need to bring lunch. Each session is limited to 50 participants so please ensure you get your booking in early! Participants will need to bring a packed lunch and a couple of changes of dry clothing, just in case. Further information will be sent to leaders one booked in.
