County Youth Commissioner Team Appointments

I am very pleased to announce the appointment of our next County Youth Commissioner Team. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the contribution that Vicky Clipson has made in the current role of County Youth Commissioner. Vicky has now reached the end of her tenure and over coming weeks will handover to Ellie, who will officially commence the role on 1st February 2021. This is an exciting time for Lincolnshire Scouts as we take our next steps, championing and further embedding a youth shaped approach.

Ellie Broome

CYC

Ellie has been a member of the UK Community Impact Group since the aged of 15 years old and has supported and contributed to the development of the Million Hands Project. For the past 2 years, Ellie has also represented UK Scouting at the British Youth Council and is very passionate about youth shaped scouting, ensuring the voice of the young person is heard and able to influence Scouting in Lincolnshire and nationally. She is a huge asset to the County Team.

Jacob Wand

Deputy CYC

Jacob is a very active leader in Grantham District, currently working as a Cub Scout Leader and he has also helped organise and run District Events. He was formerly a young leader and is currently working towards his Gold Duke of Edinburgh and Queen Scout Award.

Thomas Thorne

Deputy CYC

Thomas is currently a District Youth Commissioner and Beaver Scout Leader in Gainsborough District, and is passionate about championing and empowering the voice of young people so that they can have a meaningful voice in their programme and future opportunities.
