Barrowby Cubs and Scouts Canoeing Taster Session

For the last night of term both Barrowby Cubs and Scouts had a canoeing taster session which took place on the Grantham Canal. For most of them this was the first time on the water. Cubs were really excited about taking part. As this took place in July it also meant that we could contribute the Scouts Paddle the Amazon Challenge as well as gaining time on water.

We are hoping to do a longer session once we return in September and have another go on the water in which they can earn more time on the water.

We also invested new members into the group at the end of the session.

A fantastic evening was had by all a perfect way to end the term.
