The event, which took place at Burleigh House in Stamford, was part of worldwide celebrations marking 100 years of Cub Scouting.
Cub Scouts, aged between eight and ten years, joined over 600 adult leaders at the camp from 17th to the 19th June. They took part in a wide range of activities including climbing, canoeing, grass sledging and crafts.
For many of the young people, it was their first experience of a camp away from home and was an opportunity for them to make new friends and build their confidence.
Rob Johnson, District Commissioner for Boston Scouts, managed one of four sub-camps of Cubs. He said:
“Lincub was an excellent event which saw all Cubs have a great time and enjoy a wide range of exciting activities.
“The event was well organised and supported by a large number of volunteers and everyone was happy to put away dry tents at the end of the celebrations following good weather.
“It was a huge celebration for a huge event in the Scouting calendar, happy birthday Cub Scouts!”
