Where do you see yourself in the 2020 vision?

Whether you know a young person who wants to start their adventure, you’re an adult who wants to volunteer with young people, volunteer with other adults or simply want to donate to assist in making all of these things happen. This is where you can see where you fit in Lincolnshire Scouts.

Youth Membership

Every week Scout groups give almost half a million 6-25 year olds the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

If you know a young person who would like to join a section or be included on the waiting list, complete our application form, give us a call on (01522) 546390 or email

Volunteering with young people

You don’t need to be Bear Grylls to join us. You don’t need to have been a Scout when you were younger. You don’t even need to know how to put up a tent.  Our door is open to people of all ages, genders, races and backgrounds, and we’re only able to change lives because people like you lend a hand. We’re talking about tea makers, tidy-uppers and skill sharers. We’re talking about mini bus drivers and first aiders. We’re talking about students who want to boost their CV, and parents who volunteer so they can spend more time together as a family.

Whatever your skillset, lend a hand for as little or as much time as you can spare, and we promise you’ll get more out than you put in.  Because whether you’re helping a leader to run an activity in the local town hall, organising a night away, or buttering 120 slices of bread a group of very hungry eleven year olds - no two Scout meetings are the same. The difference you make, though, is always great.

We provide the training. You show up, get stuck in, and make memories for life.

Sounds fun? Worthwhile? It is

Volunteering with Adults

You might already be involved in Scouting or you might not. Local groups delivering Scouting are supported by their District teams bringing opportunity to support the adults in groups and some projects need to happen right across the county. We’re hoping you’ll be part of how we support Scouting in Lincolnshire.

Completing small and large projects in a wide range of different areas, everyone will get more out of what they put in.

Within the County Plan we’ve got some adventurous goals for 2020 and we’re hoping you can be part of helping even more adults and young people enjoy adventure this year.
